Co-founder - Managing Director

Alex Platt is the Managing Director and a co-founder of ASI Recruitment

I began my career in Banking before moving into Recruitment in 2012 and I thrive on the fast-paced working environment of the industry.

At ASI Recruitment I look after the day-to-day operations of the business which can vary from management accounting to ordering water for the office!!!

I’m proud of what we have accomplished at ASI Recruitment, putting the client and candidate at the heart of everything we do and I’m excited for the future.

Outside of work I love spending time with my family, target shooting and following Grimsby Town home and away.

Terry lemmon

Co-founder - Director

Terry Lemmon is one of the co-founders of ASI Recruitment

I am a director and primarily responsible for the hiring, training and development of our team and have played a key role in developing our unique recruitment process

Throughout my career I have always strived to be the best in whatever arena I found myself be that a sandwich factory when I left school or currently running a successful recruitment agency, combined with a real need to leave an excellent impression of myself and our company with the people I deal with means you’ll always get the best result and an honest opinion regardless of the benefit to me or our company

Outside of work I’m a proud father, average golfer, lifelong Spurs supporter and the owner of an out of control vinyl collection.

Matt Holgate

Senior Area Manager

I have been working in automotive recruitment for nearly 6 years since joining ASI, a well-regarded recruitment specialist. I began my career as a recruitment genius before progressing to area manager soon after proving my worth to the company.

Prior to recruitment, I was in the hospitality industry for 20 years, moving from qualified chef to hotel manager along the way.

Since working at ASI, I have built a great relationship with my clients and candidates alike, leading me to become the most successful recruiter in the business to date.

My mantra is to always be professional, treat clients and candidates as I would like to be treated myself, and always maintain good lines of communication to my clients and candidates throughout.

I am available to my clients and candidates at all hours, but when not recruiting, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, as well as trying hard to get better at darts!

Connor Richmond

Recruitment Genuis

My name is Connor and I’m a Recruitment Genuis at ASI Recruitment. I have just started my career in the Automotive Recruitment sector having joined ASI in June 2023.

What I love most about the job is speaking to Candidates, taking the time to really understand what is important to them in their next position.

There’s so much to learn in the art of recruitment and the automotive sector but I’m determined to kick start my career here at ASI.

Outside of work I have a passion for all things automotive and when I’m not learning the ropes here at ASI, I can be found at classic car shows.

Jaylan Waters-Smith

“After spending three years working in commercial insurance, I was ready to take on a fresh challenge and joined ASI Recruitment as a Recruitment Genius in July 2026. I enjoy getting to know clients, understanding their individual needs, and providing straightforward, reliable support to help find the right solution.

Building strong relationships and delivering excellent customer service are at the heart of everything I do, and I’m always keen to expand my knowledge and continue developing within the industry.

Outside of work, I’m a huge motorsport enthusiast and enjoy designing custom race car liveries in my spare time. I’m also a big fan of live music and can often be found at gigs and concerts whenever I get the chance.

If I’m not doing either of those, there’s a good chance I’m spending far too much time scrolling through Auto Trader, admiring cars and planning purchases that are probably best left on the wish list!”

Jamie White

The most rewarding part of my job is helping candidates find roles they’re genuinely excited about and seeing the positive impact it has on their careers. It’s even better when you catch up with them a few months later and hear how they’ve settled into the business, progressed within their role, and are enjoying their new journey.

Outside of work, I enjoy keeping active by going to the gym, playing basketball, and getting back into MMA now that my shoulder has recovered. I also enjoy spending quality time with my fiancée, catching up with my mates, and restoring my 1958 Gilera Giubileo. When I get the chance, you’ll usually find me supporting Chelsea or firing up the BBQ.

When it comes to cars, my favourites have to be the BMW E36 and Nissan Skyline R34. For bikes, it’s hard to beat the Honda CBX1000—an iconic six-cylinder machine that stands out as a true classic.

Martha Osborne

I began my career in recruitment in 2024, starting an apprenticeship straight from school where I gained valuable industry experience and developed a strong foundation in recruitment.

In June 2026, I joined ASI Automotive Recruitment, where I have continued to enhance my skills and expand my understanding of the automotive sector. I enjoy building strong relationships with both candidates and clients, taking the time to understand their requirements and helping to deliver successful recruitment solutions.

I am committed to continuing my professional development, growing within the recruitment industry, and building my expertise within the automotive sector.

Jenny Platt

Social Media & Marketing Executive

Jenny Platt is the Social Media & Marketing Executive

Having had a career working for the NHS for over 10 years I decided I wanted a new challenge and became the social media and marketing executive for ASI Recruitment.

In my role I mainly focus on spreading the good vibes of what we do at ASI Recruitment on social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and Twitter whilst also providing our followers with the latest Automotive news.

Outside of work: I love spending time with my family, especially messy play time with my daughter Beatrice!! and my latest hobby and passion, Snow Boarding.
